Marga has been committed to promoting sustainability within the Beauty & Lifestyle proposition for many years and actively connects that world with Summa’s broader sustainability ambitions. Together with her colleague, she has been shaping the sustainability policy as sustainability coordinator for over two and a half years. In recent years, she has sought and found many opportunities for collaboration with partners such as Fontys and TU/e, with the aim of strengthening the link between education and practice in the field of sustainability.

In November 2025, she started as a sustainability teacher and is helping to further shape the Green Office and a robust “whole school approach” around De Groene Draad within Summa. Among other things, she is developing an LLO sustainability module and has completed a citizenship course to embed sustainability in citizenship education in a well-considered manner.

At De Groene Peper 2026, Marga brings together her experience, network and enthusiasm to inspire students, teachers and the professional field – and to make sustainable development not only discussable, but above all feasible and tangible.
