Steven Haveman is a lecturer and researcher at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. In his role as a lecturer, he works at the Master Next Level Engineering, where engineering students from different backgrounds collaborate on solutions with a systems perspective. As a researcher, Steven works at the Chair of Organizations in Digital Transition on the project “Sustainable and Local Energy Systems.” This project aims to connect the social and technical perspectives for a local energy transition by encapsulating both perspectives in a simulation model. Prior to this, Steven was active as a systems engineer for autonomous vehicles and conducted research on electric mobility. He was also involved in the development of a transdisciplinary master’s program at the University of Twente, serving as the coordinator of the course “Systems Thinking.”
