With a background as a performing musician, Wouter van Deventer has always been involved with transmission and communication. After his studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, he co-raised the foundation Musicians for Climate, and started to work on the social climate app Greener.

At Greener, Wouter is working on different ways to translate the vision – getting more people to take climate positive action – to elements within the app. Core factors here are emotional involvement, the social component and gamification. Together with his colleague, Christine Cimpian, he also leads user testing to learn about how to motivate, inspire and above all activate people.
