Amal Maqdache
As a trainer, I am affiliated with the Relational Working practorium at Summa, where I focus on facilitating conversations where tension and differences come together. Among other things, I lead the ‘Dialogue under Pressure’ training course, in which teachers learn how to turn difficult conversations into constructive and educational dialogues.
In my role as a trainer, creating space for genuine conversations is central, particularly when things get tense. I do this together with a number of colleagues. We work with recognisable real-life situations and invite participants to actively practise, explore and reflect on their own role. In doing so, I use methods from, amongst others, Deep Democracy, which help to bring different perspectives to light and deal better with differences.
After this workshop, you will go home with practical tools that you can apply immediately in your own practice.
