Bio Dr Bas van den Berg associate lecturer Regenerative Leadership, The Hague University of Applied Sciences Bas van den Berg studied Food and Chemical Engineering and obtained a master’s degree in Bioeconomy, Innovation & Governance in Edinburgh. In 2023, he received his PhD from Wageningen University & Research on regenerative higher education. He held various
leadership roles in making education more sustainable and became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Sustainability Lecturer of the Year.
Bas publishes regularly and his book Teaching during Transitions has been highly influential. He works at De Haagse and is co-founder of the School of Regenerative Educators, where he is Chief Vitality Officer.
