Vincent van Vliet
Since 2021 Vincent is a Business Consultant in Sustainable IT at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. stationed at their headquarters in Amsterdam. He is part of the project team sustainable IT. This project team is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability practices throughout the IT department at the bank, which counts with a total of 7000 fte current employees. The project team’s goal is to be able to actively manage the CO2 footprint of both the bank’s IT landscape as well as their own IT operations. Within this team Vincent is primarily responsible for coordinating partnerships in the field of research and both design and implementation of Learning & Development strategies related to Sustainable IT. Besides research and education he plays a vital role in transformation management by setting up the IT governance for sustainability in IT. By ensuring their employees gain the right knowledge, skills, tools and environment they bring the IT transformation from theory into practice.
Besides being a Business Consultant in Sustainable IT Vincent is also a strategy consultant for public/private partnerships regarding education and research for IT and HR since 2017. As part of this role he is responsible for designing and implementing strategies regarding to public/private partnerships and initiating new collaborations; with the main goal of building new capabilities, enhancing existing capabilities and increasing the bank’s knowledge and expertise. In the years before, he gained experience in HRM, R&D, L&D and IT management through different consultancy roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.
