Roberto Verdecchia is a research fellow of the Software and Sustainability Group (S2Group) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). His research interest lies in technical sustainability of software-intensive systems, with particular emphasis on technical debt and software architecture. He is also fascinated by topics related to Software Energy Efficiency, Software Testing, and Software Education.

Roberto is currently in the process of obtaining a double Ph.D. at the Computer Science Department of the Gran Sasso Science Institute in Italy and at the S2Group of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
